What should I consider when choosing a photographer?: A. When thinking about a photographer for your portraits, wedding or fashion photographs, you need to connect with their style and outlook. You may have already viewed your photographer's work, or perhaps had had it recommended to you.

Can I see other clients' photographs?: Yes, past clients have given us permission to display their images. You are most welcome to browse through them. We have a large number of albums on display that demonstrate complete wedding days. Having photographed extensively there are numerous images and displays to view. See some more wonderful Photographs
What if it rains? Where can we go for our wedding photos?: Melbourne is renown for its unpredictable weather. The team at Urban Artistry is equipped with umbrellas for the bride, groom and the bridal party. We can guide you to places that are sheltered from the elements. Irrespective of climate, rain, hail or shine we will capture a great photographic result. Some rainy days - Turn them into a theme
Do I need to think about lighting/sun setting when arranging my ceremony?: Summer and winter vary greatly in terms of the length of day and lighting conditions. Your photographer is experienced and will get you a fabulous result whether there is excessive light or low light. We are experienced and skilled to deal with every lighting situation.
Do I need to choose locations or is it up to the photographer?: Prior to your wedding day, we discuss locations with you, and your personal likes and dislikes. We wouldn't dream of photographing you at the beach if it's not to your taste. Many locations are weather & light dependent, and some flexibility is required. Tell us about the places that have special significance for you. Alternatively, we are more than happy to suggest lovely locations that will make your special day memorable.
Should I get an album or not?: It is completely up to you. Better still, you have a full 12 months to upgrade from a non-album package to one of our 3 album packages. It is all about choice and flexibility. Our albums are simply beautiful. Albums are individually designed for each couple.
What about my negatives/CD can I own them?: Yes - Urban Artistry invites you to simply donate $100 towards the charity Oxfam Australia and in return, you will receive the original set of negatives/CD. Click here for more information.
Are there any copyright issues?: You may print as many images as you like! We encourage you to do so. The only condition is that it is done solely for domestic use.

In order to protect our intellectual property, images cannot be used for advertising or commercial purposes without our approval. (We do not want our images suddenly appearing in "Joe Bloggs" photography studio or in any other commercial business).
Are there any extra costs?: At Urban Artistry we structure our photography packages to be complete and upfront. We pride ourselves on our business ethics. There are no hidden costs. - What you see in the studio is what you get with the listed package.
Can my families take photos too?: Of course! Weddings are a time for family and friends; we just ask that they consider the professionalism and needs of the photographer. It may be challenging for us to take the perfect photo whilst "Auntie Doreen" is drawing for your attention.
